Neidpath Castle Wedding
Hannah & Tom, Neidpath Castle
This job just doesn’t stop delivering. I’m constantly blown away by how many cool and unusual castles Scotland has to offer. I hadn’t heard of Neithpath Castle, but after doing some research, meeting with Hannah and Tom and hearing all about their plans, I knew that this was going to be a special wedding.
Their ceremony took place at a beautiful little 12th century church near Peebles called Lyne Kirk, which is said to be Scotland’s smallest parish church. The church is only a hop skip and a jump from the incredible 13th century Neidpath Castle where the reception took place. Both of these locations really complimented each other and were the perfect setting for Hannah and Tom’s amazing wedding day.
It’s always such a pleasure to photograph a wedding where it’s so clear that the couples personalities shine through in every little detail. Hannah and Tom designed and created so much themselves in order to make this a day to remember for everyone involved. As if this wedding couldn’t get any more perfect, it took place in Autumn, which is my favourite season to photograph weddings.
Thank you to Hannah and Tom for having me and for being such gracious hosts.
They also left a really lovely 5 star review:
“Simply cannot recommend David highly enough. Leading up to the day he really took the time to get to know us as a couple and what we wanted. On the day he was brilliant and slotted in with proceedings. The photos were incredible and everyone commented they were the best wedding photos they had seen.”
