You’ve probably heard it a hundred times already… “your wedding day will fly by.” And it’s true. One minute you’re getting ready, the next you’re dancing your heart out and wondering where the day went.
That’s where I come in. I’m David, a wedding photographer based in Glasgow, capturing weddings across Scotland. From a small family celebration in the city to a full day of speeches, hugs and dancing, I photograph the people, the atmosphere and the little moments you’ll want to remember.

Camera shy? You’re in good company—most of my couples are. I’ll get to know you and adapt how I work to what makes you comfortable. Some couples enjoy a bit of playful direction; others prefer a quieter approach. I’ll take my cue from you, keeping things fun while taking good care of the details.
Your wedding photography is a collaboration. Before the day, we’ll talk through what matters to you and how the photographs fit around your plans. That preparation means fewer questions and decisions while you’re celebrating, so you can relax and spend time with your favourite people.
My approach combines candid moments with creative portraits, capturing your personalities and the atmosphere of your day. Every couple is different, so I tailor the experience to you, your comfort levels and the time we have together.

If you’re dreaming of a grand estate wedding, Dumfries House is about as elegant as it gets. The grounds go on for miles, the architecture is beautiful, and it somehow manages to feel intimate even in its grandeur. A real favourite for timeless, natural wedding photography.

This place has magic in it. Achnagairn Castle in the Highlands is full of personality - a bit quirky, very beautiful, and surrounded by stunning scenery. Whether you’re getting ready in the turret rooms or saying your vows in the ballroom, it’s a joy to photograph.

Perched high above the River Tweed, Neidpath Castle is perfect if you’re after atmosphere and history. It’s rugged and romantic in all the right ways. The light inside is incredible, and the setting outside is full of moody drama - especially on a misty day.

The Byre is pure rustic charm, and I love how flexible it is. Couples can really make it their own - whether it’s candlelit and cosy or open and airy in summer. The grounds are lush, the barn is full of character, and it always photographs beautifully.

Boreland is all about those epic Scottish landscapes 0 think rolling hills, loch views, and skies that seem to go on forever. It’s brilliant for outdoor ceremonies or elopements, especially if you want to make a weekend of it with your favourite people.

Ardross is breathtaking. Tucked up in the Highlands, it’s got towering turrets, sweeping lawns, and a real sense of drama. But despite its scale, it always feels warm and welcoming. A perfect spot for couples who want wild beauty and timeless photos.

Broxmouth Courtyard is beautifully laid-back. Set near the East Lothian coast, it’s stylish without being showy - a great mix of rustic and modern. The light here is always lovely, and there’s loads of variety in the setting for natural, relaxed photos.
