I've gone green and here's why...
Eco-friendly packaging for all!
It’s really important to me on a personal level to be as eco-friendly as possible, so I’ve been working hard in order to bring this ethos into my business. I’ve been researching eco alternatives for all of my packaging for a while now and I’m delighted to finally be able to launch my new green products.
I have teamed up with Glasgow Wood Recycling and commissioned them to design a wooden USB and photo box that will be delivered to all of my clients. Glasgow Wood Recycling is a social enterprise and charity. They are committed to reducing the amount of wood needlessly going to landfill by finding creative and socially inclusive ways to reuse this valuable natural resource. They provide volunteer and training opportunities to local people, as a practical way of tackling unemployment and social exclusion. It makes me really proud to be working with such am amazing organisation.
In addition to the USB stick and photos, clients are also provided with some nice goodies. One of these gifts is a wee bag of Beebomb seeds, which are important solution to the declining wildflower habitat in the UK. Beeboms website says the following:
“97% of native British Wildflower habitat has been lost since World War 2. Wildflower habitats are where bees and butterflies make their lives. This is serious for Britain. Serious for you and serious for your children. Biodiversity is crucial for many reasons and wildflowers are crucial to biodiversity. With Beebombs you can re-create these lost habitats and to help bring back the bees.”
Not only are my boxes a little more friendly to our world, but the packaging in which they are contained is all sustainable too. Paper bubble wrap, recycled cardboard boxes, recycled kraft paper and loads more eco-friendly alternatives.
So let’s all spread the love and help save the world.
