Those of you that have ben watching the latest season of the popular BBC show, The Traitors might be intrigued about where this beautiful castle is located . Well, here I am to inform you and guess what? You can actually get married there!

As a Scottish Wedding Photographer…

I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph several weddings at the beautiful Ardross Castle, Alness, Ross-Shire… and no, unfortunately I’ve never met Claudia Winkleman or Alan Cumming. Boo!

It’s honestly such a beautiful place, so when Colin and Shaun asked me to photograph their wedding last year, I jumped at the chance to return. The weddings that I photographed there before Colin and Shaun’s took place before The Traitors, so I was excited to return with a fresh perspective and lots of questions.

Filming of the third season had just finished prior to the wedding, so treachery was still in the air… luckily this didn’t spill over to Colin and Shaun’s incredible wedding day, which was awesome and as far as I’m aware, murder free!

Colin and Shaun are no strangers to the camera and are celebrities themselves with an amazing TV show on Amazon Prime and a very successful You Tube channel… Foxes Afloat. Check it out, they’ve been on quite a journey together and it was an absolute privilege to document this chapter of their adventure.

They are awesome guys, their wedding was so much fun and they had an amazing international guest list.

What a cool story! What a great couple! What a beautiful and iconic location! I can’t wait to go back. Maybe I should apply to be a contestant. Na, I’d be rubbish!
