A year of Love, Laughter, Lots of Amazing Weddings and Two Photography Awards!!

Wow, what a year! As 2025 kicks into gear, I'm taking a moment to reflect on my incredible journey over the past 12 months. I've had the absolute privilege of capturing the love and happiness of so many amazing couples across Scotland… and beyond.

From photographing the rugged beauty of the Highlands and Islands to the vibrant energy of our bustling cities, I've traveled the length and breadth of this incredible country, camera in hand. Every wedding and every elopement has been a unique and unforgettable experience.

I’ve enjoyed photographing several elopements in Glencoe, Isle of Skye, Torridon and The Cairngorms…

… to name but a few remote destinations. I’ve also shot urban city elopements in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The bigger weddings have been so much fun. I love to naturally capture the energy brought by so many personalities. Meeting lots of new people and documenting the atmosphere is what I love to do the most. From rustic farms to beautiful hotels, there’s always something interesting that catches my eye.

I've witnessed tears of joy, shared in laughter, and captured moments of pure, unadulterated love. From intimate ceremonies on remote islands to grand celebrations in historic castles, I've cherished every second.

This year has been particularly rewarding, as I was honoured to receive not one, but TWO outstanding wedding photography awards.

The first was from The Scottish Wedding Awards and the second was from The National Wedding Awards. These awards are a testament to the passion and dedication I pour into every image I capture, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who voted for me and the judges for their recognition.
