Scottish Jewish Wedding Photographer

I love photographing Jewish weddings… and here’s why.

I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot several Jewish weddings in my time as a wedding photographer, but this was by far the biggest and what an amazing experience.

Colette & Michael started there day getting ready (separately of course) in Glasgow’s Grand Central Hotel. The morning was full of excitement and anticipation for what was to follow.

The day was full of so much energy, which is always amazing to photograph as there’s always something going on. I love being kept on my toes.

The ceremony at Giffnick Synagogue was really special. It’s always really amazing to see all of the ancient traditions take place that mark such a life changing moment in time.

Following the ceremony, we had arranged to go to Pollok Country Park for portraits of the happy couple before heading back to Grand Central for one hell of a party! My favourite thing about shooting Jewish weddings is the dancing. Oh the dancing! It’s always wild and I’m surprised that everyone walked out without injury… me included! Ha!
