Rustic Scottish Wedding at Aswanley, Huntly
Rustic Barn Wedding at Aswanley, Huntly, Scotland
My travels took me up to the beautiful Aswanley, Huntly for the awesome wedding of Danielle and Craig.
Being originally from Aberdeen I always love travelling back up to the north east of Scotland. It always feels like some sort of homecoming and these guys certainly made me feel welcome. I also got to go around to my wee Grandma and Grandpa’s house for a bowl of soup and a blether.
There’s something so charming about getting married at a rustic location in the middle of nowhere. Aswanley has that charm… and then some. It was great to go for a wonder around the grounds and explore. The last thing that you’d expect to find in the middle of woodland is an abandoned train carriage, but there you go!
Danielle and Craig are such a great couple and it was a pleasure to be part of their special day.
Danielle is also a very talented baker and made her own wedding cake. She also provided me with some of here unbelievably tasty tablet as a thank you. Check out her work here: Sweet Toots Cakery
D&C were kind enough to leave me a really heartwarming 5 star review:
“David captured our wedding in April 2019. He is incredibly talented at what he does and was just amazing with my whole bridal party. The photos were just outstanding we were just awed at how he managed to capture our day perfectly and we have so many compliments on our photos David is so friendly, helpful and his communication is great! I’m so glad he managed to travel up to shoot our wedding as we are based in Aberdeen We would recommend David 100% you need to book him for your wedding day!”
