Woodside Lodge Scotland Elopement
Highland Elopement Photographer
There’s never been a better time to elope to Scotland… and that’s exactly what Amie and Fraser did.
Planning a big wedding can be very stressful at the best of times, but trying to organise even a small wedding during Covid can be a bit of a nightmare. That’s why Amie and Fraser decided to strip everything back, find an incredibly beautiful venue and travel up from England to get married.
Amie and Fraser chose The Lodge on Loch Goil in Argyll. I’ve been fortunate enough to shoot several weddings at this incredible venue and it never disappoints. Its big selling point is it’s huge treehouse that looks onto Loch Goil, but the place has so much more to offer. It’s absolutely perfect for small intimate weddings and romantic elopements.
Apart from a couple of Zoom calls, the day of the wedding was the first time that I had met Amie and Fraser and it was an absolute pleasure to be in their company. I like to keep things fairly chilled when shooting in order for couples to feel at ease, to keep things natural and for personalities to come out in the photos. So to discover that Amie and Fraser were totally relaxed, loved up and up for embracing their day, I knew that this was going to be a special day.
Amie and Fraser were kind enough to leave me a 5 star review, which read as follows:
“David was amazing from start to finish. He was so friendly and made us both feel so comfortable. His photos are amazing and we are so so happy with them. Couldn't recommend David enough to anyone wanting stunning pictures of their special day.”
