Woodside Lodge Elopement
scottish elopement photography
More and more couples are deciding to travel up to Scotland from south of the border for an intimate highland wedding. There’s something so special about spending the day with a loved up couple who only want to concentrate on one thing… eachother. As a wedding photographer, I see it as a great privilege to get a sneak peak into the lives of people so committed to each other that they don’t need all the usual wedding related bells and whistles… apart from an awesome photographer of course! ;)
Christie and Martin are such a special couple. I knew instantly that I was going to have a good time with them. Their sense of fun and spirit of adventure was infectious, which makes my job of capturing their personalities and the atmosphere of their wedding day an absolute blast.
There’s no better place in my opinion than The Lodge on Loch Goil for an intimate wedding. The location is beautiful, the hospitality is first class and the food is outstanding. Trust me, you will not leave that place hungry! Not many people can say that they got married in a treehouse, but Christie and Martin are now definitely two of those people.
Christie and Martin were kind of enough to leave me a 5 star review. Here’s what they had to say:
“David photographed our incredible elopement at the Lodge on Loch Goil. From the moment we saw his photographs we knew that we wanted to book David. David is very professional and always responded to emails quickly. He was very understanding and changed our date when we had to postpone due to Covid. David was amazing on the day, we were so relaxed with him and we were able to be ourselves - this was very important to us, as we eloped, David is the person who we spent the majority of the day with. We had such a great adventure, we trekked in the wind and rain and had a great time doing it. Our photographs are breathtaking and we could not be happier. They capture every emotion we felt on the day and really show what a great time we had. Our family and friends really get to live it with us when they see them. It was perfect. Christie & Martin”
