Micro Wedding at Loch Green and Brig o' Doon

Not only did Jayde and Steven have one incredible wedding venue… they had two!

Like many weddings over the last few months, the original plan had to change, but that didn’t stop this amazing couple from having one hell of a wedding day. Sometimes you just need to accept things that are out of your control, say “f*** Covid” and embrace what you can control, and that’s exactly what Jayde and Steven did.

They both got ready at Loch Green House Hotel, which was followed by a beautiful ceremony at Brig o’ Doon House Hotel. Following some formal(ish) bridal party pictures, we went for a cool wee walk along the beach next to Greenan Castle to capture really nice intimate moments between Jayde and Steven. They were naturals! After that, it was back to Loch Green for some grub, speeches and some socially distanced, pandemic style partying.

I had such a great day exploring Ayrshire and capturing the love between such a wonderful couple. Congratulations guys!

“From the moment we met David, we knew he was the photographer for us. Both myself and my partner are a bit camera shy so we knew we wanted someone who would take more natural ‘in the moment’ photographs of us and that’s exactly what we got. We also knew we wanted amazing scenic photos and this is where David truly excels. A few days before our wedding he done some reconnaissance and found some unique spots for us to have our photos taken. They are spectacular and literally everyone comments on how amazing our photos turned out! David is of course an amazing photographer and we could go on and on about how great our photos are, however, what really stood out for us and what we’ll always remember, is how amazing he was during an incredibly difficult time. Due to Covid we had to postpone our wedding and reduce our numbers, and we were worried about still having our dream wedding, however, David was so supportive and genuinely so happy that we decided to go ahead and made us realise the importance of what we were doing. We had such good fun with David on the day and he kept everyone calm and happy throughout. After the wedding he kept us up to date with when we could expect our photos, and when they arrived the extra touches made it all the more special.
