Elopement Adventure in Glencoe
Glencoe, Scotland, is a photographer's dream. Rugged mountains, dramatic landscapes, and the mystical Lochan – it's the perfect backdrop for an adventurous elopement. And that's exactly what I had the pleasure of capturing this past summer.
Micky & Johnny are an incredible couple, brimming with style and a zest for life, decided to ditch the traditional wedding and opt for an intimate celebration surrounded by breathtaking scenery. They were up for anything, from scrambling over rocks to exploring the hills – their infectious laughter echoing through the valleys.
Their ceremony was truly unique, held at the secluded Lochan nestled amongst the towering peaks. It was a moment of pure magic, with the sun glinting off the water and the mountains providing a stunning backdrop.
After the ceremony, we embarked on an adventure, capturing portraits in some of Glencoe's most iconic locations. We walked through Glen Etive, with its otherworldly beauty, and marvelled at the majesty of the Three Sisters, their imposing presence a constant reminder of the raw power of nature.
This elopement wasn't just about capturing beautiful photographs; it was about documenting a genuine love story, a celebration of two souls choosing adventure over convention. It was a day filled with laughter, joy, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the Scottish Highlands.
